Bagsvaerd Church
By metro to Bagsvaerd to visit Jorn Utzon's church. It stands on the main road of the surburban area, hidden only by the birch trees and surrounded by a band of green. Industrial characters. The facade, white precast concrete tiles, changing from matt to shiny and smooth towards the top; apparently to express the church's ceiling in an abstract way. The interior was airy and bright with a corridor that wraps around the building, a space that connects the exterior and the interior; it lead me into the main room. Draped concrete curtain ceiling...almost like a tiny concert hall... It was definitely worth the early morning start..I enjoyed the white stained timber furniture and the glimpses of glazed tiles, too..

Woke up at 7am as the train stopped for the engine change (happens at any crossing between countries apparently..) Met an awesome lady called Lis; who shared the cabin with me. We talked about numerous things over some wine (worked a magic..fell asleep like a baby). She was also a smoker and had suggested a ciggy break when the train stops for the change over..So we did...at Padborg (the train also passed a stop called 'Middelfart':)Lis gave me some cool places to check out for food, coffee..Tak Lis!

5N14E |
Onwards from Brussels. Had about 3 hours before one to Cologne; managed to get a swift visit to Bozar exhibition 5N14E at the Palace of fine arts – no comment...I don’t fully understand it..Too much reading and talking..in comparison to whatever it wanted to show.. (it’s going to London in autumn)..
Jeff Wall exhibition looked really good though, but I ran out of time - wasted unnecessary energy and time at Midi station on luggage lockers; those tricksters made me put the backpack (an object the size of me) in and out of at least a half dozen different ones..
