Then there were 3 new comers... and peace no more... young lads; all in my room..I am guessing they are no more than 20 yrs of age; on their way to Hong Kong for an exchange programme.. Uneasy visitors...They came back from clubbing at 4am.. I don't think they realise how loud they are..
Melnikov's house is still not open to the public.,
The rest of the day was spent on Mikhail Bulgakov walk.. with Anya - she's a gem.. Both fans of the writer; an excited walk to visit Bulgakov's flat and the museum, where he lived and wrote the incredible The Master and Margarita. From what I read (and confirmed by the state of the circulation space of the block), the flat used to be a hangout of dissidents and hooligans. A very charming place now..And there is certainly a black cat that hangs around the flat..! Afterwards, we head to the Patriarch's Pond where the ghastly first chapter of the book was set...nerds! :) Loved it!
Anya then showed me a series of gardens of Moscow including Hermitage Sad; also The Old Moscow Circus. Ice creams and lemonades in between..
